The Program

Soft Tissue Work

Coaches will lead the group through all their soft tissue work.

The Goal - Address muscle stiffness in preparation for training

Dynamic Warm-up

Once the athletes are ready to get up on their feet and start moving we will progress them into a full dynamic warm-up

The Goal - Prepare for speed, strength and power training.  This will also be our time to rehearse fundamental movement patterns

Power and Strength Training

Strength and Power are essential to building athleticism.  Athletes strength and power programs will be tailored to their current training age as well as any physical limitations they may have.

The Goal - To progress each athlete from simply learning proper lifting technique all the way through training at high intensities.

Mobility and Activation Training

We will take the athletes through a full mobility and activation series

The Goal - Prepare the major muscle groups for that days training as well as address the most common mobility limitations we see in young athletes

Speed and Agility Training

Speed and agility training will progress throughout the summer.  Linear, Lateral, top end speed, acceleration and agility will all be covered.

The Goal - develop technique and mechanics to maximize each athletes ability to accelerate and change direction quickly

Energy Systems/Conditioning Training

Energy systems and conditioning will be based on each athletes current level of fitness as well as their primary sport.

The Goal - Give them the ability to outlast their competition in training and in games

FAQs

  • Are there make-up days if I have to miss a day?

While we don't have specific make-up days the athletes can join another day/time if they need to make-up a day during the summer.

  • I'm going into High School. Would I sign up for Middle School or High School?

For athletes that will be going into high school we recommend them joining the high school program to prepare.

  • Can we split payments?

Yes.  We can take an initial 50% payment now to hold your spot with the second payment coming on the first day of training

  • Can we work around current injuries?

If there is a current injury we require clearance from your Dr. or Physical Therapist before training.

If cleared to train but with limitations we can speak with your physical therapist to determine which modifications we need to make to your athletes program.

  • Is this sport specific training?

For 90% of our athletes we focus on the fundamentals of speed, agility, strength and power that all ahtletes require.

Even at the highest level only a small percentage of tranining will be sport specific.

We do however adjust both strength exercsies as well as corrective exercises to fit each atheltes sport (i.e baseball players will have exercise to address the shoulder, basektball players will have different correctives and soccer players will again have different corrrectives than both the baseball and basketball players)
